Password Protect Folders - Set a password for the folder

Setting passwords for each file has been applied quite commonly. However, when there are too many confidential documents to be stored, such a password can take a lot of time. Password Protect Folders is a software that helps set the lock code for a large folder with simple usage.

After successful installation, you can open the program in the Start menu or the shortcut icon of the software on the desktop. Click Run Trial Version => Lock Folders or Unlock Folders (when there are already folders locked by this program) => click Next . The program interface is opened.

Click the Add button to open the folder to set the password and then click OK => Next . Then you will enter the password characters in the two lines Your Password and Confirm Password (of course these two lines must be the same). Users can use the optional Hint feature (remember the password) by checking the Password hint box and entering a sequence of characters that is most memorable to me. When done, click Next . The software will notify that the password installation has been successful. You can then click Next to repeat this installation for another folder.

However, in the trial version, you only set the password for up to 3 folders and each folder capacity should not exceed 50 MB.

Once you have set the password, you will see a folder with a different icon with a lock or a red circle. If you want to open it, just double click it, enter the password and click Next .

To quickly use this password setting program, simply right-click on any folder and select the Protect this folder function and follow the steps above.

If you do not want to set a password for the folder anymore, go to the main interface of the program and select Unlock Folders => Next . Tick the locked folder, click Next , enter the password => Next is successful.

An interesting fact is that if someone wants to delete a folder containing the password setting folder, they will not be able to delete that large folder. And of course, the folder with the password installed will not be deleted with the Delete command.
