The program has the following main functions:
- Check (test) CPU, memory, hard drive, video-DVD quality, source quality of the laptop (laptop).
- PCMark2002 allows to set options for test progress as specified test items. Check components in groups (you can select individual tests and skip certain tests), for example, test CPU parameters, but ignore memory and hard drive tests.
- You can choose the number of repetitions of the test to finally get the average score over many runs. You can also choose which logical hard drive (logical HDD) is used to test or test all hard drives.
- Provide detailed information about hardware and software of the machine. Through the internet, compare the results of your computer with other machines in the database of PCMark2002.
- Export reports to text files so you can import test results into virtually any text editor or spreadsheet applications like Microsoft Excel .
PCMark2002 needs a minimum system:
- Intel compatible CPU with speed of 400 MHz and MMX support.
- System memory 64 MB RAM or higher (depending on the operating system required, as Windows 2000 / XP needs at least 128 MB)
- AGP graphics acceleration card.
- Windows 98 / SE, ME, 2000 or XP operating systems.
- Microsoft DirectX 8.1 and above.
