PlayMeNext Free for iOS is the perfect combination of music player, photo slideshow and remote control, all in one compact and free application for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

With PlayMeNext, anyone can become a professional DJ, request and order songs safely and simply with their iOS mobile device. But that is not all. To make the atmosphere more exciting and fun, everyone can transform into amateur paparazzi, post photos on the sharing site and display them directly on the TV screen. You can also view your shared photos on Facebook and Flickr automatically.

To get started as the party owner, start PlayMeNext in Player mode on your iOS device, then connect to the sound system and / or TV screen to get started. Once every guest at the party has installed PlayMeNext on their device, they can connect to your player via Guest mode, then issue a song request from the iTunes music library and take a picture. Note you need to connect to WiFi or Bluetooth wireless network to get ready for this vibrant music party!

PlayMeNext is used in 2 main modes:

Player mode - as the party host you can:

  • Set up a player and play music from your personal iTunes library.
  • Set up a passcode to ask guests to enter and access your player.
  • Set a special personal key for you to remotely control (turn on or turn off the music, change the volume .) for the player from another device.
  • Select the playlist the guests request.
  • Log in to Facebook and Flickr, set up albums for automatic photo downloads. You can do the following if you want to preview the image before uploading).
  • Download Play Queue from a playlist.
  • Add a few photos to Photo Wall, visitors only see the image when they connect.
  • Connect the device to a TV, computer monitor or projector to display uploaded photo slideshows.

Guest mode:

  • Connect to a nearby player.
  • See what's playing and a playlist waiting to be played.
  • Add the song to the suggestion list and send it to the party owner.
  • Change the order of songs in the queue list.
  • Upload photos with comments on Photo Wall.
  • View photos and comments from others.

Note:

  • Player mode in the free version is limited to 10 minutes of music playback.
  • Should use WiFi network for the program to work best and be stable.

General requirements:

  • Use the paid version of PlayMeNext in Player mode.
  • The free version only supports 10-minute playback.
  • Party guests can use you for free with ads.
  • Discover all options in the settings, allowing comfortable customization.
  • Use high-speed devices as the main player (iPhone 4, iPad or iPod Touch 4th generation).
  • Use strong WiFi so the router can handle multiple connections at the same time.
  • Bluetooth connection is slow and within 30ft / 10m.
  • The first photo you take on Photo Wall will show first when the visitor connects to your player.
  • If using TV-out from iPad, use 1X.
  • Photos are displayed in reverse order, the latest image first appearing.
  • Lets delete all photos and songs if you connect by administrator key or directly on the player.
  • The entire song must be downloaded from the iTunes catalog before starting the player.
  • Restart your computer before accessing Player mode.
  • On Photo Wall, click each image to access full screen mode, allowing you to swipe through the entire image.
  • Turn off the screen in Player mode to save battery, but do not run any other applications.The best solution is to reboot the device.
  • Lets upload entire photos to Facebook, but you can wait until the end of the party.
  • Remove the inappropriate image and reload.
  • Device battery will be affected when you use Apple iPad Dock Connector in VGA adapter (maximum time is 8 hours on iPad).

How to set up a player:

  • Use a highly configurable device (iPhone 4, iPad or iPod Touch 4).
  • Download music from the iTunes library to the device.
  • Set up strong WiFi network to handle multiple connections at the same time.
  • Connect the device to the speaker system.
  • Should connect to a TV or projector.
  • Install the PlayMeNext version for a fee.
  • Set the player in Player mode and check the settings.
  • Enter the administrator key and start the player.
  • Take new photos or use old photos in the public gallery.
  • Upload photos to Photo Wall.
  • Reload a playlist from the guestlist requested by the guest.
  • Control music right on the Now Playing tab.
  • Lock the player on the Settings tab for security.
  • Connect an administrator key from a remote device and freely control the player.
  • Set a time for guests to connect to your player with their devices.

Troubleshooting connection to player:

If you receive the "Failed to connect to player" error message in Guest mode, try connecting again. This error occurs when the network is temporarily lagged, or the whole network error. Restart the player from the main machine or restart the WiFi transmitter.

How to connect the player to the TV, computer screen .:

PlayMeNext supports external display for iPhone 4, iPad or iPod Touch 4. You can use Apple iPad Dock Connector to connect with VGA adapter , Apple Component AV cable or Apple Composit AV cable for the player to work. on an external monitor (check if the monitor is supported). When the Apple iPad Dock Connector connects to VGA, you cannot charge the device, so it should be fully charged before use.
