The main feature of PSDPlugin

PSDPlugin can download and save Photoshop features (.PSD files) without reducing its sharpness.

  • RGB photos.
  • 8-bit color depth / channel.
  • Raster images do not use vector features.
  • Layer, using common blending modes.
  • Optional RLE compression.

You can use this PSDPlugin to exchange work between Paint.NET and other programs. This feature is especially important, helping you keep the layers for the default .PND format - other formats will be flattened when saving. The .PSD file format provides the best protection for layers when editing images in many graphic programs.

The .PSD file format is standard in the graphics industry. In addition to Adobe Creative Suite, many other non-Adobe programs can also read PSD formats such as Autodesk Sketchbook, 3ds Max, GIMP, Microsoft Expression Design .
