Readium for Chrome - Read ePub eBooks from within Chrome

ePub is a popular ebook format used on devices such as iPhone, iPad, Sony Reader, Nook, Kindle, etc. You can read ebooks using this format on your devices or computers. With specialized ebook readers, ePub e-books are not difficult to read. But what if you do not have support equipment, do not want to install additional software on your computer?

If you are using Chrome, the Readium application can help you solve this problem, it allows you to read and view ePub eBook content from within the browser.

You can install Readium for Chrome at the address above> click Add to Chrome > Continue > Add . From the tab opens, click on the icon Readium to go to the program's working interface.

From the function bar above, click the notebook icon to select the search file with two options ePub: from the machine (click the Choose Files button in the From Local File field), from the web (paste the link directly to the ePub file in the From the web box, e.g. https://abc.com/xxx.epub). Once you've selected the file you want to use, check the box Confirm that this book complies with ePUB standards (Confirm that this book conforms to ePUB standards)> click the Add Book button. You wait about a few dozen seconds for the program to extract the file. The view will open in a new tab and you can start reading your books.

Additionally, you can configure when using Readium by clicking the gear icon on the main interface. In the pop-up that opens, you can set up with two options: Automatically open * .epub urls in readium (Automatically open ePub file links in Readium), Show warning messages when unpacking EPUB files warns when unpacking EPUB files). Finished, click Save changes to save changes.
