ShadowExplorer

ShadowExplorer is the software that allows you to control Shadow Copies created by Volume Shadow Copy Service on Windows Vista / 7 operating system.

It gives you access to shadow storage and copies when used on operating systems on even other versions.

Shadow Copy is a software that can find the old versions from files you accidentally deleted or changed. This program works by default on all versions of Windows Vista / 7, but Microsoft only allows access to these copies in Ultimate, Business, and Enterprise editions. That is why ShadowExplorer was born.

Function:

• Show available copies.

• Browse through Shadow Copies.

• Search for old versions of files and directories.

Installation Instructions:

Download and run the setup file.

Read the ' License Agreement ' carefully on the page displayed. Click ' I accept the agreement ' to continue.

You can choose a different folder to install ShadowExplorer if you want.

Next, select the ' Start Menu Folder ' for ShadowExplorer.

If you don't want to have shortcut on the desktop, remove the checkmark in the ' Create desktop icon ' box.

 

You can see a summary of the actions you have performed if you click the ' Next ' button in the image above.

The installation process is completed.
