Instructions for using SHAREit

Troubleshoot SHAREit connection errors between devices:

Once you have started SHAREit on both devices and still cannot find and connect the device, make sure:

• Both devices start and run smoothly on the device.
• You have chosen a different role for each device: one is the sender and the other is the receiver.
• Both devices have wireless connections turned on.

Note: some devices with wireless card ( Wireless Card ) operate on 802.11a / b / g (using 2.4 GHz radio frequency) so no other devices can be found using SHAREit SoftAP technology (create 5 GHz broadcast port). This is a common error and is resolved on the file receiving machine by going to settings > device management > network adapters > selecting wireless card , accessing the feature > advanced > selecting connection mode wireless. Now users need to choose a mode other than 802.11a.

How to resolve the conflict between SHAREit and Access Connections:

You have already installed Access Connections on your computer and created more than one Best Avaible Network profile . If the wireless adapter is not located at the top of the network adapter list in the profile settings, SHAREit will not work. SHAREit will detect conflicts and notify users to change profile settings as follows:

• Start Access Connections on the computer and switch to Advanced mode.
• Click the Location Profiles tab and select the profile notified by SHAREit. Click Edit .
• On the displayed window, select the wireless adapter in the network adapter list and press the Higher button to move the wireless adapter to the top.
• Click OK to save changes.

If a conflict occurs between multiple profiles, repeat steps 2 to 4 in the instructions above to change the settings of the remaining profiles.
