Sibelius is the leading music editing software. There are many specialized software to help you write music to print, one of which is Sibelius.

While larger than some other software and functions, Sibelius is more capable of meeting your needs than other software.

Usage and some typical functions:

1. Format of music mold, printed paper:

You chooseStart a new score and click OK, right now the music format format panel will give you a choice:

In theManuScript Paper window, you choose the format of the music mold for each instrument to write, you will immediately see all kinds of instruments such as drums, piano, cello, violin . With ordinary music you should choose Guitar , here is the most common music format, look at the Preview window ? You can click on Add Instrumentsto see some other formats.

ThePaper size section is A4 unless you want to print another paper size. Then click Nextto go to the next window.There are different types of porters for the instrument you have chosen.

Also, click on theMain text font window to select the font used for this piece. Click Nextto continue:

Now the program makes us determine:

  • Rhythm for sheet music: it only gives you the standard beats, if the song you are about to copy is not like that, selectOther and fill in. Beam and Rest Groups can be selected forfurther reference.
  • Start with bar of length: here you select the starting note for the track.
  • Tempo text: this is the beat of the music you are going to copy.For example: Slow, Fast .

Click Next . Here you select the key, look at your key to collate to select. The left is sharp, the right is flat. Click Next .Now identify some other important things for the music you are about to copy:

  • Title: Name of the track.
  • Composer / Songwriter: sheet music author.
  • Copyright: copyright sheet music.
  • Other: these are more introductions about the song.

Click Finish to end the music format step.

2. Compose sheet music:

There is a piece of music in the format you have just chosen.When the Font fails, you use TCVN3 (ABC) and then click OK .Also want to edit any element on the track, just hover over edit just like in Word only.

The main editing interface appears 3 windows:

  • Playback: allows you to listen to the music you just composed.
  • Navigator: thumbnail view of the editing page, like in that Shop.
  • KeyPad: This is the main board containing music notes.
