Send by phone
When you send a message via a phone that is connected to the computer, SMS-it uses parameters on your phone (Network Center, Recipient ID) to send the message. This form of sending is the same as sending on a phone, except that you type the message on the computer. Not all phones can meet the requirements but at least still have the ability to connect to a computer (via infrared, cable) for you to easily exchange data, synchronize contacts. with computer and SMS storage.

Send via modem
This mode connects to the SMS network center (SMSC) to confirm the destination of the message. There are several network providers that support this form of modems to a local server so you can choose when needed. In addition, you can also use the server abroad but the price will be more expensive. The two protocols used at SMSC are XIO / TAP or UCP. XIO / TAP is an old format suitable for simple text messages. If SMSC supports this type of protocol, you cannot send picture messages or ringtones. SMSCs that support the UCP protocol can send text, pictures, ringtones and SenderID.
