Stop Game Home Edition

Although the online game provider has set a time limit feature, you can still control your children with the Stop Game Home Edition software.

After installation, run the program and set some of the following:

Picture 1 of Stop Game Home Edition Program interface

1 Admin login : As soon as the first Stop Game, the software will ask the user to set username and password to use the program. With this access, you will be the only one who can use and change the settings in Stop Game. Then, click Logon to enter the main interface of the program.

2 . Import managed objects : As a general administrator of the computer, you can create limited user accounts for your children. In this software, administrative rights allow you to include other users in the object managed by the program. From the main interface, click Settings on the right, the Administrator Settings dialog appears> on the User tab> click Add User and type the account you want to manage> OK twice. You can add as many users as you want. In addition, in the Administrator Settings dialog box, you can also change the username and password using the program, the warning sound and how to start it.

3 . Set the time limit : From the main interface, go to the User for edit section at the top and select the object you want to apply the time limit to. Next, go to the Limitation section to the right of the interface. The Stop Game Limitation dialog box will appear, the Time limitation per day of week section will show the amount of time each day that the subject can use to play the game. Drag the sliders in each day to change the amount of time you allow (the default is 24 hours). Then, click Save to save the settings and Close to close the dialog box.

Back in the main interface, you begin to adjust the amount of time for each day. Then go to the Active Schedule tab, click the blue plus to create a time to allow the object to play the game (you can create many different time periods), click the red plus sign to create an interval that does not allow Game object. For example, select Saturday, you want your children to play games between 19-23g, press the blue plus sign, a dialog box appears, enter the time 19g into the Begin of interval and 23g End of interval section. Thus, on Saturday your child will only be allowed to play games for a period of 19-23 hours. This time period is 4 hours, but if in the Limitation section you have set to allow only 2 hours of game play for Saturday, the applicable object will only play for 2 hours out of the 4 hours that you have just allow. For ban times and other days of the week, you can do the same.

Next, go to the Games tab, click the Add button at the bottom and navigate to the executable file (tail * .exe) of the games that your child wants to apply the time limit.

After you have made the settings, log out of the program and it will take effect. If you want to change an existing setting, you must login again with your username and password at the beginning.
