Tamer App for Mac

App Tamer has the ability to automatically stop applications to distribute CPU usage more efficiently and improve battery life. Some Mac applications, especially web browsers, continue to run tasks even when they are 'requested' in silence.

This will drain the power and reduce battery life. The App Tamer AutoStop feature has the ability to automatically stop these applications when you do not need them and then restart them when you click on them. This will help free up your CPU and minimize power consumption. This program has an attractive user interface and is easy to use to manage running applications. The Tamer App will show the percentage of processing for each application, and display the CPU usage record. You can easily enable AutoStop for any application, as well as change their processing priority in OS X.

This new version has:

• If you click on the Dock and abruptly turn off App Tamer, the program will leave the windows of some applications grayed out. This has been fixed.
• AutoStop will close any application until it has been run for more than 30 seconds. This will prevent most applications from stopping running before they complete the task
