Tiles

Tiles is an application that supports viewing and managing easily applications running on Windows.

Specifically, Tiles is a tool to manage applications that work by installing an application bar on the side of the computer screen, allowing you to quickly preview and manage active applications. This is basically an application emulated from Windows 8, allowing you to add and manage applications in Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. This application allows you to control the appearance and size. , location . of the application.

Tiles displays the user guide from the first startup. You can move up and down between applications, documents . rearranging windows, shortcut shortcuts and object configuration.

By default, the application bar will appear on the right of your screen. This bar will allow to preview the current applications in the Apps page. Select the application bar and drag right or left to move between the Mytiles and Apps page. Shorcuts apps and shortcuts can be added to My Tiles by dragging and dropping them into the bar

Right-click the application bar and select Configure Stardock Tiles to access the configuration menu. This menu includes 5 tabs: Pages (hide the application, the text), Apprearance (adjust the interface of the bar), Size and Location (move the bar left, right or up and down .), Options (set options and advanced), Add Features (add-on from Stardock Tiles).

For Windows 8, the default application bar will be hidden, they will appear when you hover the mouse to the left of the screen. As for the Tiles app, this bar will always appear so you can view and quickly switch between apps.
