Step 1: Double-click the downloaded file TonidoLiteSetup.exe to install the software. You just need to Next> Next then Finish is done. Note: Some firewall or antivirus software may not allow you to install this program, but Tonido is not dangerous to your PC.

Step 2: Immediately after Tonido, the program will open as a browser for you to start registering user accounts.

 

Step 3: After the account is created successfully, the program will log in automatically with the account you have registered.

 

In this step, we will configure the most basic settings for file sharing.

On Tonido's toolbar, click on Tools / Select Settings / Select the ' Network ' tab. Check the two options, which are Enable Remote Web Access and Enable Tonido Network . The program will automatically save the configuration you just changed.

Step 4: To start sharing any file, click the [+] button before the My Computer icon and select the file to share. Your final task is to click on the Share file button in the Actions column to start sharing.

 

Having to upload each file can take a lot of your time, Tonido has overcome that by allowing users to share entire folders (folders). The same thing happens when you share individual files. If the folder is full photos, you can share the album format by clicking the 'Gallery' tab next to it or the Music tab if the folder is full music.

At the end of the sharing process, Tonido will notify you that the sharing process of the file or folder has been successful and you will receive a link to access that file or folder.

Step 5: To review what you shared with others, click the My Shared Files button.

 

Step 6: In addition to public sharing, Tonido also allows you to restrict groups of people who have access to (private) to your files. To do this, do the following:

 

At the toolbar, click Tools / Manage Guest Users .

Next, click Add Guest User / Fill in the Group Name and Password for the group to create a new group. You can create multiple groups depending on the purpose of your work.

Step 7: To increase the security of shared files, set access permissions for the previously created user groups. How to do the following:

Click the My Shared Files button to review the files or folders you have shared with everyone. Click the User Access button to delegate authorized user groups.

 

At the end of this process, only the groups you select will have access to download the files. These groups are protected with the username and password you created in Step 6.
