How to use TypeIt

Step 1: run the TypeIt program on the computer.

Step 2: choose a keyboard, for example French keyboard. Click the TypeIt icon on the toolbar to select a language. TypeIt will remember the last time you set the French keyboard to open the next time.

Step 3: you have opened the French keyboard and can enter data right now to edit documents, email, chat, post Facebook, interact on forums .

Hold down the Alt key and enter characters similar to the letters you want to type. For example: à â æ - press the combination of Alt and A 1, 2 or 3 times.

Note that frequently used keys will be entered with a single key. To type uppercase letters, simply use Alt + Shift instead of Alt.

Limitations of the TypeIt trial version

• Displays a pop-up message after a few keystrokes.
• No capital letters or symbols ʒ available.
• Will stop working after 14 days trial. However, days when you do not use TypeIt will not count towards the trial period.
