TypeRacer

TypeRacer is an interesting online typing practice service that allows people to compete by typing an excerpt from a book, movie or lyrics. This is the first 10-finger typing practice website in the form of the first online multiplayer game on the web.

Join the competition you will know your typing skills

You can then select the language you want to practice typing by visiting the home page, selecting More Options , in Language , clicking English and selecting a favorite language.

If you choose Vietnamese you get the interface and the text as shown below. You quickly notice that the text of the paragraph is quite messy, because TypeRacer uses Google's automatic translation tool to convert the original text from English into Vietnamese. However, this does not hinder much of your fast typing practice.

The typography on this site is quite simple, just type the word (or have more characters) highlighted in the blue text above your text box. Every time you type a wrong letter, the website will immediately notify to promptly edit.

If you want to practice alone, select Practice , want to join the race, then click on the words Race against others . Choose Race your friends and send the code and link to your friends to join your friends. If anyone wants to join will access that link.

There are many forms of competition for you to choose

After you choose Race against others you will wait for at least one more person to join. The race time is limited, not counting when all players finish the track. When you reach the destination, you will see the leaderboard and the word speed (measured in words per minute - wpm).

At the end of the race you will know which text you have just extracted from the book, movie or lyrics and information related to that book, movie, song. It also links to the shop to buy books, movies if it is a paid version.
