Universal Extractor is a program designed to extract and extract files from any type of archive or installer, such as ZIP or RAR files, self-extracting EXE files, application installers .

Please note that Universal Extractor is not intended to store general information. It cannot (and will never) create archives and therefore cannot completely replace archives such as 7-Zip or WinRAR. However, Universal Extractor can help you extract files from virtually any type of archive, regardless of source code, file format, compression method, etc.

Universal Extractor allows you to extract the entire contents of packaged files as an installer (such as .msi and even .exe) regardless of how it was compressed. Universal Extractor is easy to use and proves flexible in how you extract files (from its interactive interface or through the Windows Explorer context menu).

Universal Extractor User Guide

1. Extract the file from the Windows Explorer context menu:

Right-click the Universal Extractor installation file, select one of three extraction methods, including:

• UniExtract Files: Extract to the specified directory.
• UniExtract Here: Extract to the current directory.
• UniExtract to Subdir: Unzip the subfolder of the current directory.

2. Extract the file from the program's interactive interface:

Click on the 3-dot button of Archive / Installer to extract , navigate to the location of the archive you need to extract, click on the icon of this file, select Open .

Next, click on the 3-dot button of the Destination directory , set the folder you want to use as a storage location for all files about to be extracted from the above file. Then select OK .
