Unstoppable Copier - Rescue data on a damaged hard drive

Hard disk drive is a popular computer data storage device, but unfortunately, any hard drive after using it for a while is also damaged, causing data loss. The cause of the failure can be due to electric shock, virus infection or scratched / read on the disk surface, etc. If it is important data, usually people have backup and backup mode ( backup), in case of disk failure. But if we don't have time to back up, sometimes we leave so many precious things 'away' with the hard drive, which is a waste! However, things may look different now if you have the Unstoppable Copier. The case can not copy data with Windows Explorer or Dos, Unstoppable Copier 5.2 can 'save' for you.

Unstoppable Copier does not need to be installed, just activate the file unstopcp.exe when using. The interface of the program is quite simple, including 2 main cards: Copy and Settings. Unstoppable Copier's task is to try to find data on the sectors not yet corrupted and copy it to another drive for you. Retrieved files may not be intact, but 'get as much as possible' is the goal of the Unstoppable Copier.

To perform the "rescue" data, you insert a damaged hard drive into the computer (thanks to another computer with Unstoppable Copier), then start the computer and "run" the program. In the 'Source' box, type the name of the damaged drive, if you don't know the drive letter, click the 'Browse' button to find the failed drive and press OK. In the 'Target' box, type the name of the drive or the folder containing the recovery data, you can click the 'Browse' button (of the Target box) to find the folder containing the data, and then press the 'Copy' button.

You can go to 'Settings' to modify the default configuration of the program to your liking:

  • Copy the files intact first (Undamaged Files First).
  • Discard, do not copy damaged files (Auto Skip Damaged Files).
  • Retain date / time created and edited on file (Keep File Date / Time).
  • Copy the intact part in the file, remove the broken part (Resume Partial Files).
  • Attempt to repeat the copy command (multiple times) if the first attempt fails (Set Maximum Retries).
