Like many other photo browsers, VJ also provides you with integrated image capture capabilities with:

- Capture : choose the shooting mode is Deskop (screen) or Windows (active window).
- Hotkey : set shortcut to capture.

You just need to select Capture Now to start taking pictures.

Some additional tools

These tools you can find in the Tools menu, including 3 tools:

- Find Duplicate Images : allows you to search for images with the same name or content in your computer.
- Image Rotation : the automatic process that helps you rotate the photos you scan while inadvertently skewed.
- EXIF Time Stamp : function to put the current date in the information of the image.

Listen to music

VJ supports you to listen to MP3 formats, just right-click and select Browser for folder to open the file, right-click the music file, select Play Now , a pretty music toolbar will appear in the lower corner. on the left of the program for you to manipulate music files. In addition, the program also supports opening MP3 list files, supporting MP3 Tag Editor to help you add information to the song. If you want to export the playlist to MS Excel file or click the icon in the Tools Bar.

Some adjustments in File> Preferences:

1. Card Start up: including 1 number of settings at program startup:

- Load last open image on start : turn on the last viewed image when starting the program.
- Shrink lafge images in Fit Scale only : automatically collapses large images in the program interface.
- Show hidden folders : view hidden folders.
- Quit VJ with Esc : turn off the program by pressing Esc button.

2. Slide Show Card: adjust in photo show:

- Slide show time interval : time to change a photo.
- Slide always full screen : always show with full screen mode.
- Disable screen / monitor saver in full screen : turn off the screen saver when showing.
- Restart slide show on end : replay at the end.
- Hide mouse cursor in full screen : hide the cursor when performing.
- Show image information in full screen : display image information when performing.

3. File Associations tab: information about image formats supported by the program. You should click Select All > Register checked file format extensions so that the program manages all of them.

4. Thumbnails tab: select the viewing size in thumbnail mode in the Thumbnail display size box.
