To create a virtual hard disk, click the ' Create ' button, then go to ' Save Path ' to name the file containing your virtual disk -> Go to ' Size ' to specify the size for your virtual disk in MB . The virtual drive will be a .EDK file and all data in the virtual disk is actually contained in this EDK file.

VFD is highly secure, it requires you to enter the password to access the virtual disk in the ' Password ' box and also requires you to enter security questions and answers in the ' Question ' and ' Answer ' boxes. . Give the virtual disk a title in the ' Title ' box and finally click OK so VFD will initialize the drive by creating an EDK file and formatting the virtual disk that you have just created. Once created, Windows will immediately recognize it and assign it a drive letter identical to a newly inserted USB Flash memory stick as a standalone hard disk.

You can create as many virtual disks as you like, just click ' Create ' to create a new virtual disk. When you need to use a virtual disk, simply click on the file name, then click the ' Mount ' button to access the disk or click the ' Unmount ' button to hide it.
