VSuite Ramdisk Free Edition - Software to accelerate all applications in Windows

When we open programs and applications for daily use, they are read from the hard disk, then loaded into RAM (Random Access Memory) to wait for processing.This, if you have many programs open at the same time, there will be a 'hard disk' phenomenon on the hard disk, causing the program to start longer.VSuite Ramdisk Free Edition 1.18.1531.1240 is a software that can help you overcome the situation just mentioned.

* Create virtual RAM disk

In the program interface, select the Ramdisk tab, in the Creation Mode box we set the properties for the virtual RAM drive. Follow these steps to create:

- Disk size : RAM disk capacity, can be set up to 4 GB. Ideally, you should set up Ramdisk smaller than the actual RAM in your computer.

- Drive Letter : Name the virtual RAM drive, name the characters such as F, G, H . arbitrary. If you do not set, the program will order.

- File System : Choose FAT, or NTFS.

- Volume Label : Set a disc label. For example: Ramdisk or Program Disk.

- Enable NTFS Compression : If you choose NTFS in the File System section, mark this item.

- Create Temp Folder : If you want to create a temporary folder in the virtual RAM disk, check here.

- Enable Image File : Select this item, then click the (.) button to select the drive, then name the file to save the file on the hard disk (do not save this file in the RAM drive). Also in this section, you tick the item Save at Computer Shutdown , so that when you shutdown and restart, the programs already running in Ramdisk still exist.

After configuration is complete, click the Add button below, wait a few seconds for the program to initialize. If successful, the virtual RAM disk will appear in the Ramdisk disk directory, located at the top of the program interface. Virtual RAM disk will also be present as a partion of hard disk. You can create as many virtual RAM drives as you need.

Virtual RAM disks are used to run programs and applications everyday. When working, we have to open programs, applications . If the operating system 'sees' those programs and applications available in RAM, it will open from RAM, instead of reading from the hard disk.

To load commonly used programs (such as Internet Explorer, Word, Excel .) into virtual RAM, go to Windows Explorer, open the drive containing the programs (usually C :) and copy the programs and applications. Use that to create your RAM drive. For example, if you want to load Internet Explorer into a virtual RAM drive, go to C: Program Files Internet Explorer, then copy the IEXPLORE.EXE file to the virtual RAM).

Thus, the programs running from the virtual RAM disk will be saved even if you turn off the computer. On subsequent use, these programs will start faster, because the operating system has skipped loading the hard disk into RAM.

* Delete, view and edit RAM disk properties

If you need to delete the virtual RAM drive, select the drive letter to be deleted from the RAM drive list and click the Remove button. To edit or view the RAM drive properties, double-click on the drive, then click the Modify button to edit or the Propertie s button to look up its properties.
