WebIssues is an open source, cross-platform, open source system that provides users with communication channels to track project issues and support teamwork.

The application is fairly easy to use and has the ability to store, share and track issues with many different properties. At the same time, users can customize the settings to use the program as desired.

The server of this program can be installed on all websites that support PHP, MySQL or PostgreSQL . The Client part of this program can be used like any other normal application.

The main purpose of this program is to support a group of small developers. These groups can use this software instead of having to build a complex bug / problem tracking system.

Some key features:

The user interface is built like computer applications:

Client WebIssues window allows you to access and manage the system. The interface of this program works faster than the web-based application.

Filter and search for problems:

Users can set custom criteria to filter and search for problems. Also, you can save frequently used filters for quick access. Besides, users can also customize the columns displayed in each issue list.

Keep track of new and fixed issues:

This program can periodically check for new or edited problems in the selected directory. Summary view allows for a quick check of issues that match the focus request filtering criteria, for example on-going errors assigned to a processing team member. In addition, whenever a problem is corrected or a new problem appears, the user will receive an email notification if this option is enabled.

Create report and export data:

Users can create reports of many issues or detailed reports on an issue, then print or export the file in HTML or CSV format.

Easy installation and setup:

Server WebIssues can be installed on all PHP-enabled servers and has access to MySQL, PostgreSQL, Firebird or SQL server databases.

Support dividing the problem into several categories:

Different problem types will have different properties such as text values, numbers, dates, usernames, and select available values. All changes in these properties will be remembered and displayed in the problem history.

Sort data simply:

Issues are organized in a two-tiered hierarchy of projects and directories. In particular, the project section allows customized access to each part of the system for each user. The directory section allows dividing the same category problems into groups.

Security and rights management:

The Client window allows dealing with the server over a secure encrypted connection using an SSL protocol. A rights management system consists of roles: server management, project management, and users often allowing operations in a multi-user environment.

Request:

Web server supports PHP 5.2.1 or higher.
