WinShell

WinShell is a free software that supports LaTeX text editing. Designed to run on Windows, but WinShell can also work in Linux thanks to Wine.

Function:

WinShell supports syntax coloring for TeX documents and creates a user-friendly interface that helps users perform LaTeX document translation tasks using the built-in MikTeX or TeXLive.

In addition, some useful additional features of WinShell include:

• Support for Unicode and Unix files [2].
• Support to create tables quickly.
• Spell checker is integrated in the software, based on Hunspell
