Part 1: Convert DVD movies, audio & video files

Step 1: Import DVD, video and audio files

After starting this program, you will access the " Convert " interface by default. Then go to the " File " menu and select " Load Media files ." to import your video and audio files or select " Load DVD files ." to add DVDs. Alternatively, you can also press the " + " button in the bottom left corner to browse and add the files you want from the computer. However, the easiest way is to directly drag and drop videos, audio, DVDs and even videos downloaded from websites into this program.

Step 2: Select the output format

Click the up arrow at the bottom of the program to open its output format list. Here, the available output formats are categorized into folders such as Devices , Editing , HD & 3D , Web Sharing , Video and Audio . Just select any format you want. If you need to convert videos or DVDs to iPhone 5, iPad mini and other devices, you can choose an optimized preset to fit your device in the " Devices " folder.

Note : This application provides three professional encoders in the " Editing " folder which are Apple Intermediate Codec, ProRes and DNxHD. For those who want to convert files for editing in iMove, FCP, etc., the output formats supported by this famous editing software will be what they want.

Step 3: Start conversion

Click the " Convert " button in the bottom right corner of the main interface to start the video conversion process. During this process, you can pause or delay the conversion easily. The progress bar will show you the conversion speed.

Part 2: Burn and copy DVD

Step 1: Import video or DVD

Click the " Burn " tab at the top to enter the "Burn" interface, then in the top left corner of the interface, you can switch to the " Burn DVD " or " Copy DVD " options. Next, simply drag and drop the file you want to the application's window to burn DVD or copy.

Step 2: Select the output format

Name the DVD and choose one of the four output formats: DVD disc, DVD folder, .dvdmedia or ISO file. To burn a DVD, you can choose one of your favorite DVD menu templates from the drop-down list at the bottom of the program window.

Step 3: Start burning or copying DVDs

Click the " Burn " or " DVD " option in the bottom right corner of the interface to proceed to burn or copy the DVD.

Note: It is recommended to preview the video before burning.

Once you have edited the file, you can press the " Preview " button to preview your DVD, then press the " Burn " button next to it as appropriate.

Part 3: Download videos online

To download videos from any website, simply click the " Download " tab at the top using the built-in browser, then access your favorite websites like: YouTube, search and play the video. At this point, you have two different ways to download them. One is to click the "Download" icon in the top right corner of the video to add them to the download list, or to open the Media Browser by pressing the button. in the top right corner and then directly drag the video URL into the download list in Media Browser.
