Login window

On this window, you need to fill in the login account and password that you used during the registration process for 4shared service. If you do not have a 4shared account, you need to click on the " Register now " link at the bottom of this window to create a new account.

Select the " Remember my login " checkbox if you want the application to remember your login and password information and log in to your account automatically when it starts.

Once you have filled in all the fields, click the " Login " button to open your account. If the login or password is incorrect, you will stop at this screen. In case you have forgotten your password you need to click on the " Forgot your password? " Link in the lower right corner of the Login window.

The main window

After the program has successfully logged in and received data about your account, the main window will be displayed. There are several main controls:

1. Directory Tree (showing you your account directory structure)
2. List of files and folders (showing you the contents of the selected folder)
3. List of files to upload (containing the files you want to upload)

Uploading file

Select the directory you want to upload the file to. To open a folder just click the folder in the directory tree (1) or double click it in the file and folder list (2).

Continue the uploading process now available! In case you stop uploading yourself or this process is interrupted for another reason, you can still continue uploading. In such cases, a " Restore " button will appear instead of " Upload ". Click that button to continue uploading.

Note: Alternatively, you can use the " Primary " menu to select or upload files.

This window displays the following tabs: Upload and Proxy.

The first tab is used to edit upload settings such as:

* Maximum number of concurrent upload chains (specifies the number of upload chains to be run at the same time. That capability is assumed to increase the upload speed several times)
* Paragraph size (Each file will be uploaded in segments to allow multiple threads and continue to upload. That is, the size of the file segment uploaded in the upload sequence.)
* Upload speed limit for each thread (allows you to limit upload speed if needed)

With the " Proxy " tab, you can set proxy settings to use 4shared Desktop.

See the record
The log window shows you a list of error descriptions. This list will help you and we understand the cause and how to fix this error. Use the " Submit to Support " button to mail the list to 4shared Support Group.

Create folder

Select the folder you want to create the new folder. To open a folder simply click on the folder in the folder tree or double click on it in the file and folder list.

You can find the " Create new folder " button on the toolbar. Once you have clicked on, you will be prompted to enter a name for the new folder. Enter your name and click the " OK " button to finish creating.

Get the download link

Just click the file in the file and folder list to see the download link of the file. By clicking the " Go to " button, the download page of the file will be opened in your Internet browser.
