ABC Outlook Express Backup

For those who often use Outlook Express to compose and receive e-mail, regular back-up of messages and e-mail lists is essential.However, this is not too simple and especially if anyone gets your backup, all personal information will be revealed!

How to back up :

- In the Items to backup section : You tick the things you want to backup.

- At Choose a Backup Filename : Choose the folder that will contain the backup file.

- In the Security section, check Protect backup file with password then enter the password in the two boxes below.

- Finally, you can enter a few more descriptive information for the backup and then press the Backup Now button for AOEB to work.

Recovery method :

- You switch to the Restore tab, click the Browse button and select the file that was backed up earlier. If you have set a password, the Please enter password dialog box will appear, enter the password and click OK .

- In the Description box, you can see some of the descriptions you entered earlier.

- At What , you tick on what you want to recover. Finally, click the Restore Now button, select OK in the confirmation dialog box is complete.

Note :

- AOEB can also backup Favorites for IE and burn backup files to CD / DVD, you can find this function in the Tools menu.

- You can also schedule backup for AOEB by going to menu Options > Task Scheduler . The procedure is similar, except that you have to specify additional time that the program automatically backs up.
