1. Set parameters:

After successful installation, activate the program from the Start menu > Programs> Ada Email Extractor XP or from the icon on the desktop. The interactive interface of the program consists of two panels.Panel above includes:

* File Types to Search : By default, the program only provides 13 file formats to search for e-mail addresses, such as asp, csv, eml, htm, html, htt, jsp, mht, php, shtml, txt, text, xml. To add, type the file extension such as DOC (Word document), DBX (file containing Outlook Express messages) . Note that there must be a comma (,) separating the extensions. .

* Options tab :

- Internet Temp Files section : Search for e-mail addresses from temporary Internet files.

* Filter Settings tab :

- Exclude These Domains : Removes domain names from the search list. For example: If you enter yahoo.com, hotmail.com, when the program searches and extracts, e-mail addresses belonging to these two domains will not appear in the results box.

- With These Names : Specify a search by name. For example, you type the name like appsaved.com, when searching, the program will extract email addresses of the form appsaved.com @ . Other email addresses will be removed.

- Exclude These Names : In contrast to With These Names .

2. Search:

After setting the parameters to suit the needs, click the Start button to start the search program (the time is very fast - extract 1,944 email addresses in sent items.dbx file takes 59 seconds) .
