- Remote PC Client : This program is run in the computer we are using and from it controls the other computer running Remote PC server

Steps to specify Remote PC server and Client:

+ For machines to be controlled in the LAN:

- Click StartProgramAccess Remote PC Menu appears, click Server (makes this PC controlable) to have Remote PC Server box; Select the LAN tab to know the machine name and IP address of the machine (this address is assigned by the ARPC) in the intranet usually 192.168.x.xx

- Next, click the Users and Password tab. Click the New button to create a name and password for this controlled device. Enter a name in the Username box, type the password in the Password and confirm the password. Frame Permissions : Check the Desktop View to control the Desktop of this machine; Check Control mouse and keyboard ; Tick Access file system to allow access to the file of the system; If you want to restrict access areas, check the box Restrict to and then click the button next to where to restrict access; If you want this access to be available only when the person in front of the controlled device finishes connecting, check the box Allow access ONLY if accessted by live person on this end of the connection . Then press OK to return to the Remote PC server box. At this time, in Users authorized access this PC window appears an eye icon with the Username you just set. Click the Hide button to hide it in the system tray.

+ For machines that are controlled in the LAN:

Click StartProgramAccess Remote PC Menu appears, click Client (Lets you control another PC) to have Remote PC Client box.

In the Remote computer box, type in the name of the controlled device or its IP address. On a LAN with an Internet connection it is best to type the IP address that APRC has provided for you and then click Connect . When the connection starts, the program will bring up a dialog asking you to enter the Username and Password. This is the same name and password that you previously set for the remote computer (Server) shown above.

Once connected to a controlled device, you will see the Desktop screen of that computer displayed on your computer as if you were sitting in front of it. You are free to use the keyboard or mouse to control the computer as you like.

Due to the same program, it is simply a different way between Server or Client. So in a LAN environment you can easily use any machine to control the other machines

You can simultaneously connect and control many different machines in real time.
