  • The Decryption Task allows you to decrypt files or entire folders and subfolders.
  • Key Generator can generate secret key, public key, private key, public OpenPGP key and private OpenPGP key.
  • Key Store Manager allows you to enter or extract keys for external use.
  • Email Notification for all tasks based on Exit Code task.
  • Variables are supported for most tasks. Variable creation tasks can be used in other tasks.
  • Zip file or folder using symbols on schedule. You can insert date / time in the file name for storage.
  • Chain Task Integrator supports running all AutoKrypt tasks in sequence.

The coding method

There are 2 encryption methods: symmetric and asymmetric encryption:

Encryption based on Symmetric Password method

This is the simplest form of encryption (symmetric encryption method), which means that a single password is used to encrypt and decrypt data (or files). This method is useful for encrypting your sensitive information, your family or for a few trusted friends or colleagues.

Encryption based on Symmetric Secret Key

This is a very simple key encryption method. This symmetric encryption method uses the same secret key file to encrypt and decrypt data (or files).

Encryption is based on asymmetric public / private keys

With a public key file used to encrypt data, the file corresponding to the private key is used to decrypt the data. Only you have access to your private key. You can give your public key to anyone who needs to send it to you. This is a technique commonly used in organizations.

OpenPGP encryption

This is the most common encryption method. Many companies use OpenPGP encryption to exchange and store sensitive data.

OpenPGP key

To get started, you need to generate an OpenPGP key pair. Private keys should be 'preserved' carefully. Public keys can be sent to friends, colleagues, customers or relatives.

Encrypt and decode the file

Your client can use the public key to encrypt a file. Then email the encrypted file to you. Files after being encrypted by the customer using a public key can only be decrypted with your private key. Similarly, if you want to send a file to a customer, you should use the public key to encrypt the file, only customers with a private key can decrypt the file.

Log in and verify the file

To confirm that you have sent the file, you should use a private key to log in to the file. The customer can then use the public key to confirm that the file has been sent by you.
