This backup software is designed with built-in support for CD, DVD, HD-DVD and Blu-ray burning. Just set the destination to CD, DVD, HD-DVD or Blu-ray and make the backup job. However, if you do not want to use Backup4all's built-in recording tool, you can use 3rd party recording software (such as DirectCD or InCD). Backup4all also has the ability to erase CD-RW / DVD-RW / HD DVD-RW / BD-RE devices.

Password protection

You can protect your ZIP file by setting a password for each backup job. In addition to conventional password protection, Backup4all also supports 128-bit, 192-bit and 256-bit AES encryption. These numbers reflect the size of the encryption key used to encrypt data - the higher the key strength, the stronger the encryption.

Photograph

The mirror backup format creates an exact backup of the selected files and folders (copying NTFS permissions and streaming instead), including empty directories as well (for exact copies of the source). You can optionally choose to zip the backed up files individually.

Activities performed by Backup4all are logged. This allows you to view the status of the activities performed (backup / check / cleanup / restore). You can also view the backup history (also allows you to export information as .csv).
