• View recoverable files as a list or a thumbnail.
• The thumbnail will show the preview of the image file, album art from the MP3 and WMA files, and the icon from the executable file.
• The recovery file selection provides the full preview for the file. For image files, it will display the image (with zoom function). For a document file, it only displays the text preview of that document. For some audio files, it will allow you to play that sound.

Advanced features

Can scan virtual drive image files :

• VHD file (Microsoft Virtual Hard Disk).

New in DiskDigger 2019

• 'Dig Deep' mode has been enhanced with the option to display "Deleted files only" or "Deleted and existing files." This feature is useful when the disk is incorrectly formatted or partitioned but the file system itself is healthy. When inserting the disk and Windows shows an error, for example: "You need to format the disk before you can use it". This may be a warning sign of this problem. DiskDigger will now show you how to recover an entire file from the drive, whether or not it was actually deleted from the file system.
• In 'Dig Deep', DiskDigger now supports improvements to certain file system scans (not native on Windows), including HFS + (used on macOS disks), ext4 (used in Linux).
• Increased support for scanning optical drives (CDs and DVDs) and file systems in them, including ISO 9660 and UDF. In addition, the software also improves support for scanning broken disks and burning errors. When selecting a drive to scan, you can go to the Advanced tab, check the box "Detect disk size manually". This will cause DiskDigger to ignore the driver disk size, instead, it will read the disk clearly until it cannot be read.
