DriverGuide Toolkit

In Windows, installing a driver driver is sometimes difficult, because there is no software or software that is not compatible with the device. DriverGuide Toolkit will help you identify, list, backup or update drivers in your PC.

DriverGuide Toolkit (DGT) lists all drivers (drv) installed on your computer. When the computer is connected to the Internet, this software allows you to update the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website.

The software has the main functions, such as driver backup, driver identification. DGT will "detect" all drivers and backup easily, with just a few mouse clicks.

Driver backup

After installation, go to the Backup Drivers tab. Here, you can view the drivers installed on your computer and back up them. Click on My Installed Drivers to list the drivers in your computer (it is recommended to set List non-Microsoft drivers). To backup a driver, select the driver, then click Backup Selected Drivers . DGT will save your driver file to an optional directory (the default is C: My driver). To select the folder to save the driver as you like, click Select folder for driver backup . DGT allows you to create as many backup driver files as you want.

Search for driver upgrades

To search for device information from the manufacturer, or the latest driver for the device, go to the My Installed Drivers tab or select the My Saved Drivers tab. On the My Installed Drivers tab there are two options: list all drivers and list non-Microsoft drivers. On the My Saved Drivers tab, you must list the driver files that you backed up before. Click on a certain driver, and start searching for updates. In addition, this software also allows you to search for driver updates from DriverGuide.com website; WindowsUpdate.com and Google.com.

If a new driver is found, the upgrade should also proceed with caution. You must carefully check the version and update date. In case you have a newer driver than a searchable driver, DGT will advise against downloading and installing new drivers.

Restore Drivers

Use Windows Device Manager. Go to System Properties (keyboard shortcut is windows + pause) and Hardware Device Manager . Select the driver, then use the Hardware Update Wizard feature to restore. You can also identify an unknown driver by selecting the Identify Unknown Devices tab and Quick ID of Unknown Devices tab. Then use the Search driver for selected device tool to identify the driver.
