Delivered free of charge and used by thousands of printed circuit board designers, manufacturers and assemblers, GC-Prevue is the Gerber standard software for anyone with PCB-related jobs. The software can read all electronic products created with CAD graphics software including Gerber, Barco DPF, Excellon, Sieb and Meyer, HPGL and HPGL2 . The software can also be used to verify design data, cite, print documents, manage design and measurement modifications.

Once designed, the circuit lines will be placed on one or more boards consisting of a single layer or multiple layers. GC-Prevue is essentially a PCB viewer with detailed and accurate specifications . The software also provides a number of other tools for designing verification data as well as checking previous design parameters.

From the File section of GC-Prevue, users can choose to create a new PCB or open an existing PCB on the machine. The Edit section of the Menu bar helps to rotate, move the printed circuit board to have a comprehensive view as well as grasp the information of PCB parameters. The software also has plenty of other installation options under Customize.
