Google Analytics iOS allows access to Analytics accounts and data directly from mobile devices, which can calculate website activity at a higher level.

The application helps optimize the Google Analytics report layout and controls in a mobile environment, for example automatically adjusts the display to fit the device screen size, the navigation system based on touch and swipe instead of the traditional input method.

Navigate with gestures: swipe and touch

Use touch or swipe on the screen to navigate and select items in the application. Excludes other navigation options.

Diverse report views

Touch the drop down menu in the navigation bar and select the account list to see the pages you own. If you have multiple websites, swipe to scroll down and view the entire list. Touch each of your products to see a list of reports. Tap to select and open a specific report.

Understand the data display

In each report, data is displayed on the cards. The card will show the most important parameters according to each report category, helping users better understand the website's operation without spending much time to evaluate or analyze.

On the small screen, you can view a separate card. Multiple cards will display simultaneously on a larger screen. Swipe to scroll down and see more cards. Touch a card to see details and reporting options. In some cases, touch a card to open a new report.

Navigate to other reports

Every time you launch the Google Analytics application, you are automatically redirected to the Overview page, which summarizes each specific report. Touch a card in this overview mode to navigate to the report.

From anywhere in the app, touch the Analytics icon in the navigation bar to see the menu of the categories. This will open a tray or navigation bar that displays the report categories. Touch a category name, such as Audience or Acquisitions, to view the category of the report in that category. Touch a report name to open the report directly. Touch the category name to close it. You can also swipe to close the entire menu item without selecting it.

Change the date range

In a report, touch the date range to change the selection. When viewing the statistical details of a specific card, you can choose to narrow the data view to today, yesterday, last week or last month. You can also tap Custom to set arbitrary date ranges.

Apply data segments

Touch the Segment icon to add a segment to your report (this is a standard piece of data). You cannot create or apply custom snippets in this application.

The rest of the data will be included in the entire report unless you delete it. The name of any segment that has just been applied to the report will appear on each tag, so you'll know which piece of data is active.
