GParted Live

GParted Live is a tool to edit partitions written to CD or USB, PXE servers or hard drives for 32-bit Windows platforms, supports users to manage drive partitions graphically, allowing resizing , copy and move partitions while preserving data.

To put it simply, GParted Live is GNU / Linux Distribution that boots compactly for 32-bit computers. It allows you to take full advantage of the features of the latest version of GParted .

As we all know, GParted is a free partition editor that allows you to manage disk partitions scientifically. With GParted, you can expand or shrink the C drive, create space for new operating systems, and even rescue data from lost partitions.

GParted Live is installed on CD, USB, PXE server or 32-bit computer hard drive.

Note: it is recommended to create a complete disk or backup a partition image before resizing or moving a partition. Some free software (GPL) and compatible partitioning tools: Clonezilla, doClone, FSArchiver, G4L, g4u, Partimage, Partclone.

Instructions for installing GParted Live

• To install GParted Live on CD, download the .iso file and burn it as an image on the CD.
• To install GParted Live on USB: the bootable GParted Live image is installed on USB. The basic installation method only supports when USB is formatted with FAT file system.
• Install GParted Live on the PXE server: besides the GParted Live CD and Live USB, you can put the GParted Live image into the PXE server for the client to boot over the network and use GParted.
• Install GParted Live on the hard drive via GRUB, LILO.
