Before the software installation begins, make sure the printer is set up properly and turned on.
- Close all running programs on the computer.
- Click on the download file and the File Download window will appear.
- Select Save and the Save As dialog box appears.
- Select a folder to save the printer driver pack and click and Save . Remember where to save the file.
- Open the downloaded file through Windows Explorer (after the download process is successful). Note to remember the path.
- Connect the printer to the system using the USB port and turn on the printer.
- The Windows Found New Hardware Wizard interface appears.
- Click on Next .
- On the next screen, make sure the " Search for the best driver for this device? " Button is selected.
- Click on Next
- Check that only the Specify a Location box is selected
- Fill in the path editing field noted in step 5. Click Next
- Click on Finish
- The New Hardware Found Wizard will repeat the process of installing the printer driver. Repeat steps 8-13 above.
- A new dialog box will appear to select the printer name. Select the name from the list and click the Finish button.
- Click Finish
