The first step is to register your account on the LaptopLock homepage.

At the site that appears, you look to the bottom right corner will see as shown.

You fill in the appropriate fields and then click SignUp to register. At the declaration page appears, enter the name of the computer, then click the Add Computer button to put the list of protected computers on LaptopLock. After entering, you will be provided with a computer ID in the Computer ID section and information of the computer name you declared .

After installing the software on the computer, you first start, declare the registered e-mail in Account E-mail, the name of the Computer ID number received above and the password of the software manager in the last box and then click Save to save the settings. You can click on the Check Status to check the status of that ID is protected if not sure, or you can also check at Show Splash Screen on Startup if you want to show confidential Password you declare.

After configuring password protection, you proceed to configure computer protection as follows: Run the software, declare the password you set. At the interface that appears, select the Security tab, select Manage Security Plan to open the Security Options window. Here are the options you need to know as follows:

To do this, click the Add Folder button if you want to add the protected folder to the list, click Add File (s) if you want to add the protected file list to the list, if you want to cancel a file / any folder you click on the Remove button. When you're done, click the File Security button to start the protection program.

-If you want to display a warning board when the thief opens the device or wants to redeem if someone buys your goods, select the Notification Options button and enter the content you want to display also in the box above, the box below you You can attach an alarm sound file or anything that is up to you (supports WAV file). Of course you have to tick them first, then click Save to save.

-To let the program perform a job to run an application when stolen, you can declare in Programe , such as a software that locks the entire computer does not allow use.

Note: If an intruder reinstalled your system, your system will not be protected by LaptopLock. Proceed to protect privacy when the laptop is lost.

One unlucky day, the laptop does not fly, then you immediately visit the homepage of LaptopLock, proceed to declare the login information. At the management website that appears, select the correct ID as well as the name of the computer you declared when registering. Then click the Report Computer Missing button to notify the home page that your computer has been stolen, this time it will perform the processing that you have declared during the use of the software. The program is capable of executing even if the laptop never accesses its website, just have an Internet connection and start the computer.
