Launched in late January this year, Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware beta is the latest product of Malwarebytes designed for Windows users to eliminate the extremely dangerous malware called ransomware. The software runs automatically in the background, so it can control system activities and detect ransomware related activities easily. According to the publisher, Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware is very active and can detect and prevent many types of ransomware such as CrytoWall4, CrytoLocker, Tesla and CTB-Locker.

This software helps prevent the system data encryption of ransomware by quickly identifying, then transferring them to the quarantine center (called quarantine process) and exclusion from the computer. With its simple interface, Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware includes a Quarantine tab that provides information about the ransomware detected along with the Exclusion tab . This tab is very effective when you want to ensure that certain processes or files are not detected as ransomware. All files deemed "clean" and unrecognized ransomware will be placed in this tab.

Maybe the company will release a limited free version with a paid Premium version after this beta, but so far there is no official information so you can use it completely free. Also note that due to the beta version, there may be some minor issues, such as being unable to install when users upgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 10 .
