When you use Microsoft Office Outlook to send email, this program will save the recipient's address in a list. From then on, when you enter the first few characters of an address, Outlook automatically completes the rest, saving you time and also avoiding sending the wrong address. To view the contents of the above mentioned NK2 files, you can use NK2View 1.15. After downloading, extract and open the program by double clicking on the file nk2view.exe without having to install.

Once activated, the program will find and open the NK2 file corresponding to the current user's account. To view the email list of other users, use the Open command on the toolbar. NK2View also allows you to easily extract the content of a file into other formats such as HTML, XML, TXT.

Every address you enter in the To . or Cc . boxes is saved by Microsoft Office Outlook, so the list of mailboxes will be longer and longer and contain some addresses that are not really needed. To shorten the list, use NK2View to open the NK2 file, select the mailboxes to delete, and then press the Delete key. However, before deleting, you need to close the Outlook window and backup the NK2 file to be able to recover in case of unforeseen circumstances.
