You can use many different software to perform this function, but with PDFTools you can manipulate PDF files in a small application.

After installation, the program will look like the picture:

Encryption function (Encrypt a PDF)

With this function, you only need to specify the path to the file to be encoded in Source PDF File , the path to the extracted file after encoding in Output PDF File . You should set a password for the file after it is encrypted in Passphrase for encrypted PDF . In case the original file contains a password, enter your password in the Owner Password field . The rights on the file after being encrypted are also set under Allowed Permissions . Notice that these settings work better in 128bit encryption mode than 40bit.

Decryption function (Decrypt a PDF)

In contrast to the Encrypt function, this function decrypts encrypted PDF files in the previous step.It is important that you enter the password of the original file in the Owner Password field .

Join PDF files (Join Multiple PDFs)

The program allows you to join multiple PDF files at the same time, in the main interface of the program, select Join Multiple PDFs , in the new window that appears, you only need to add the necessary PDF files in the section Add PDF , rearrange them with the Move Up and Move Down buttons. Next, select the path to the file to extract the results in the Output PDF File box . Finished, click Join to join them.

Cut a PDF file (Split a PDF)

Trimming long files is also sometimes necessary for your sharing and storage.Split a PDF allows you to cut existing files into new files with options such as: Split each page into a new file (Split each page to new PDF), split even pages. into a new file (Split odd page to new PDF), split odd pages into a new file (Split odd page to new PDF), or cut from any subsequent page position, . Once you've selected, you Click Split to proceed with cutting them.

Stamp a PDF file (Stamp a PDF)

There are some PDF files that you want to be stamped with 'copyright' before you share them with your friends, the Stamp a PDF function allows you to do this by specifying the source file, the extracted file. Results in Source and Output . Then, you select the Stamp Text option if you want to stamp the text in one of the PDF file locations on each page (the position you can customize according to the coordinates supported by the program). Or you can also stamp image format like watermark in word text in Stamp Image section . When you're done, press Stamp to apply the settings.

Reorganize PDF files (Rearrange a PDF)

Another interesting feature of this tool is the reorganization of existing PDF files.You can perform the conversion of the entire page position in the Reverse all page option or arrange multiple pages into one page under Multiple pages on one page , .
