RDW - Bringing TCVN into foreign structural calculation programs

Currently, software in structural design analysis is widely used in Vietnam such as SAP2000 / ETABS / STAADPRO.However, when using these software, it only stops at the step of calculating internal forces and analyzing dynamics, because in these software, there are no load standards, design standards of Vietnam.RDW is the software that adds Vietnamese standards on load determination, internal forces, design and inspection of concrete and steel structures, and technical drawings into SAP2000 / ETABS / STAAPRO software.

MAIN FEATURES OF THE SOFTWARE

1. Determine wind load, earthquake load

In the design of tall buildings, one of the important things is to determine horizontal loads such as wind and earthquakes. Especially with the seismic load and dynamic wind, it is necessary to analyze the dynamics of structures such as frequency and amplitude of oscillation.

RDW helps to connect with ETABS to read and identify diagrams (size, floor height), analyze oscillation results (vibration form, amplitude of oscillation, frequency of oscillation, floor mass, the effective mass .), on that basis, calculates the static wind load, the dynamic component of wind according to TCVN 2737-95 and TCVN 229-1999. earthquake load (static force, spectrum) according to TCVN 375-2006, or according to UBC 1994; 1997; SNHIP.

2. The internal force combination according to TCVN 2737-1995

Automatic determination of coefficients in the basic combination, additional combination and special combination.

Automatically generate cases of wind load reversal.

The combination takes the forms of wind and earthquakes according to the square root of the sum of squares.

Calculation of dangerous internal force combination at cross sections and jet combination at the base of the wall column.

3. Designing and checking reinforced concrete structures according to TCVN 5574-1991 and TCVN 356-2005.

4. Preliminary determination of column size

In the design of reinforced concrete, engineers often wonder how to determine the size of column sections? RDW will help determine the size of the column based on the dead load and the live load acting on the structure.

5. Friendly graphical environment, export results to Excel and AutoCAD

The graphical environment allows to display diagrams, select components, show test design results such as steel diagrams by frames, steel surfaces, etc. Graphic results can be printed directly or Export to AutoCAD format * .DWG

Full report system, presented as a spreadsheet for the components. Users can export these reports to Excel (* .XLS)

6. Rich design library

In RDW, there is a library system designed for single rich and diverse components, serving as a design manual. Design library includes: calculation of steel beams for concrete columns, steel, calculation of reinforced concrete floors, tensioning floors, steel frames, calculation of cracks for beams .

7. Connect with stCAD and Escon into an automation software suite from structure to estimation

RDW exports design results to stCAD

stCAD will automatically draw the surface of the structure, steel beams, columns, floors and export drawings to AutoCAD (* .DWG) and estimate the cost to Escon.

Escon will calculate the estimated cost of works.

8. Compatible with new versions of ETABS (v9.2 .), SAP (v12 .), STAADPRO
