Download the media

Download source media

Video or single image

Step 1: Click the Browse button.

Step 2: Locate the target file and click the Open button.

After the file is downloaded, you will see relevant information in the information field.

Chain image

If you prepare sequence images with external software, you can import them into popVideo Converter to create iWidget files.

Step 1: Click the Browse button.

Step 2 : Select the string image and click the Open button. popVideo Converter will load the entire numbered file with the same name prefix.

Step 3: Set the FPS to the same value when the string file is created.

Note:

  • Since audio cannot be removed with popVideo Converter, you should use an external video editing tool to remove the sound of the source file if you want to create an output file without sound.
  • Every time you download a new source file, popVideo Converter will erase all control keys including Mask Video, Info Box, Output Settings, and Preview Window.

Supported file formats:

  • Images: BMP, JPG, TGA, PNG, Sequence BMP, Sequence JPG, Sequence TGA, and Sequence PNG.

One-click Chroma Key

Step 1: Activate the One-click Chroma key box .

Step 2 : Click the Green Screen or Blue Screen button corresponding to the background color of the media downloaded.

Format and quality settings

To determine the format and quality of the resulting file, follow these steps:

Export a part of video

You can mark a portion of the video for export as a popVideo file.

Step 1: Go to the Output table.

Step 2: In the Output Section , enter values ​​for the From and To fields.

Step 3: You can also drag the Mark In and Mark Out tools below the time slider to define the range.

Note that the minimum time range is 1 second.

Step 4: Click the Convert button to create a popVideo file of the specified range.

Resize and crop

You can determine the resolution of the output file by entering the desired numbers in the Output Size field. The result size may differ from the source file size.

Determine the thumbnail of the exported video

You can drag the slider in the preview window and click the Capture Thumbnail button to identify the thumbnail for the exported video.

Output FPS

The FPS output determines the number of frames to be displayed per second. Basically, the higher the value, the smoother the video playback quality. Maximum value of FPS is 30.

For Video, this field displays the FPS of the output file. You are not allowed to adjust the value.

For Sequenced Image , you can enter a value to determine the number of images displayed per second.

For Single Image, the FPS will be 1 and the duration of the output video will also be 1 second.

Resize video

The Output Size field helps you set the size for the output file. You can choose to reduce the size of source media and create smaller sized videos.

If you want to resize the video, follow these steps:

Step 1: Go to the Output table.

Step 2: Change the value for one of the Output Size fields. Other values ​​will change at the same time (keep the original ratio).

Step 3: Click the Convert button to export the new video size.

Crop video

Step 1: Check the Crop Video box. The frame will then display on the preview window.

Step 2: Click and drag one of the sliders or corners to change the aspect ratio.

Edit popVideo with iClone (.popVideo)

PopVideo file can be loaded into iClone to combine videos with 3D objects.

Step 1: Download the Source and Mask files .

Step 2: Set Output Settings and convert the file.

Step 3: Click the Launch button to open iClone:

You must drag the exported popVideo file onto the target object to replace its texture.

Hold Ctrl and drag the exported file onto the iClone preview window to create a table with a popVideo map on it.

Edit iWidget with WidgetCast (.iWidget)

If you have WidgetCast installed on your system, you can send the resulting file to WidgetCast for further editing.

Step 1: Download the Source and Mask files .

Step 2: First, set Output Settings and convert the file.

Click the Launch button. When asked about opening the file, click the Yes button:

If WidgetCast has been launched, the resulting file will be loaded right into the Edit step of the program.

If WidgetCast has not been launched, popVideo will launch it for you. After that, you must click the Edit button to download the resulting file.

Edit Video Mask with external video editing tool (.AVI)

Step 1: Download the Source and Mask files.

Step 2: Set Output Settings and convert the file.

Step 3: Click the Launch button to launch the default media player to play the video mask.
