Reaper (64-bit)

Reaper 4.01 is a powerful and streamlined Windows application designed for recording, organizing, editing, mixing and performing music. Reaper provides a flexible and easy to use interface that is almost suitable for amateurs and professionals alike.

Main features:

- Useful for users of interest or professionalism. Simply drag and drop one of the file types in to edit it, or insert a track and equip it for recording. No need to define or complex project settings.
- Reaper is fully functional, but its installer is just over 1MB. Quick start and close, can easily be installed on new systems or removable drives.
- Fast and powerful editing capabilities: Split, resize, fade / crossfade, fluctuations, stretch time, copy / paste and loop audio items with erasure. Can edit on sound wave strip.
- Unbeatable work capability: Send tracks to any other track or hardware output path, with lots of options (pre-fx, post-fx, independent faders, mono or stereo). Not interested in advanced routing tools? You are not required to use it (and certainly it does not hinder you).
- Powerful recording options: Support pre-fx, post-fx recording, can record complex sounds from multiple tracks, etc, support switching input mode quickly, choosing control head in (comes tape-style input check mode automatically), supports auto-punch-in / punch-out and more. If you want, in other words, it behaves as you would expect.
- Scalability: Correct, readable, editable file format project. Support for reading and writing common file formats. Support for editing the track consolidation and track source sketching, for easy access to other applications. EDL import / export for Samplitude and Vegas.
- MIDI support: Support for MIDI files, recording MIDI, and VSTi / DXi softsynths. MIDI can link and coordinate with audio.
- 3rd party effects and 3rd party plug-in support: The included built-in effects include a compressor, ports, FFT EQ, some basic electronic instruments, Jesusonic effects, and support for multiple plugs -in (including VST and DX plug-ins) with full set of available plug-ins.
