The installation process is quite smooth, you can even choose to install a portable version. Once installed, Reaper will display a user-friendly interface, easy to use, it is divided into several areas: main menu, right-click menu, toolbar of the main window, control panel of audio files , main window, editing area, timeline and music mixing.

Reaper supports naming of audio input and output files, MIDI device support, VST plugin, process editing (envelope), changing the user interface, custom actions and macro and sound functions. 3D surround bar, profiles for each diffused channel and more.

The software uses a moderate amount of system resources, comes with complete documentation (downloadable from the developer's website) and a good overall response time.
