The mechanism of action of the word guess bar

SwiftKey Note for iOS predicts what you write before you start typing. Use the prediction bar to select words to enter. When you start entering a complete word, the prediction will change based on the selected letters. You can enter a word by touching the word in the prediction bar, or touching the space between words to access intermediate predictions.

How to turn off the automatic correction feature

Users can choose what spaces work by visiting settings> improvements> spaces. 'Space always inserts a space' means that the letters entered will exactly match what you have done without the need for automatic correction.

How to add a new word

When you enter a new word that SwiftKey Note does not recognize, the word appears on the left button in the prediction bar. Press the button to help SwiftKey Note receive this new word.

How to change the language

If you are using more than one language, you do not need to switch between them. Just input and SwiftKey Note will determine the language you are using and give you the best guess.

How to change the layout (QWERTY / AZERTY)

Users can enable international keyboard layouts in Apple's general settings. To choose between available keyboards, press and hold the globe icon to the left of the space on the keyboard.

How to sync with Evernote account

The option to connect SwiftKey Note to the Evernote account was introduced in the initial greeting screen when you first installed the application. Users can alternate connection with Evernote in the settings. From the note list mode, touch the settings button in the top left corner, touch the 'Evernote account' option. If you touch the login button, you will be taken to the Evernote login screen to link your account.

Once connected, any notes created with SwiftKey Note will be synchronized immediately with Evernote. All changes made in Evernote are also synchronized back to SwiftKey Note.

In the Evernote account section of the SwiftKey Note setup, if the 'sync new notes to Evernote' option is selected, any new notes will be automatically linked to Evernote.

If you want to link notes to Evernote as an individual , uncheck this option. After completing a new note, you can select the share button at the top of the screen and press 'link to Evernote'.

Why not enter every Evernote note?

SwiftKey Note is designed as a fast and personalized way to create notes, these notes will be synchronized with your Evernote account for seamless backup. When you first connect SwiftKey Note to your Evernote account, the application only imports the tag and the notebook name. Evernote notes are not imported. Any notes created in SwiftKey Note (and synchronized with Evernote, indicated by the gray Evernote elephant icon in the note title bar) will be kept updated between the Evernote and SwiftKey Note accounts.

How to change the font size in SwiftKey Note

You can change the font size in SwiftKey Note if you are using iOS 7 with Dynamic Type feature . Go to device settings> general> font size and adjust the slider to the desired size. When returning to SwiftKey Note, the application will apply this font size.

Dynamic Type feature is not supported on iOS 6.

How to create and save a note

To create a note, press the plus icon '+' in the top right corner of the home screen. When finished entering notes, press the Done button to finish.

How to tag

Tags allow you to quickly identify notes with a common topic , such as 'activity' or 'important'. To add a tag to the note, in note editing mode, tap the tag icon at the top of the screen, then search for a tag, scroll down to select it, or press the plus symbol '+' to create it. new tag. Each note may contain multiple tags.

The mechanism of action of the notebook

Your notes will be organized in electronic notebooks. Each note belongs to only one notebook. To add a note to the notebook, in edit mode, touch the book icon in the top left corner. You can bookmark or find a book from the list or add a new notebook by clicking the plus symbol '+' on the search field. Notebook is a useful feature for grouping related notes, such as recipes or tasks.

How to edit an existing note

On iPhone, touch a listed note to switch to edit mode. On iPad, press the edit button next to the previous note title to preview and edit the content.

How to search current notes

In the new content view: in the note list mode, scroll down to find the note you need. Notes will be listed in chronological order.

In the notebook section: from the notes list page, select the notebook section at the top of the screen. Users can search for a notebook, or select a notebook containing the note. Scroll down to find the required notes.

By tag: in the tag list view, you can find a tag or find the tag attached in the note. Scroll down to find the desired tag, when clicking on the tag, the entire note containing this tag will be displayed on the screen.

Personal statistics

Users can view their input statistics by clicking 'use' in the settings. Here you can see the input efficiency (%), the number of keystrokes saved, the typed error corrected, the number of predicted words, and the number of completed words.
