Talkdroid Messenger is the Windows Live Messenger application for Android (also known as MSN Messenger). Users can easily log in with their Windows Live account to contact friends.

What permissions does Talkdroid require?

• Internet: This application requires an internet connection to communicate Talkdroid with Windows Live Messenger server.
• Access network state: The AdMob SDK requires this permission to download ads.
• Access coarse location: Improve the ad that is being run by AdMob.
• Vibrate: Necessary for the Nudges.
• Read Contacts: Used to display the avatar from the address book if it does not appear in Messenger.
• Wake Lock: Used to prevent the device from falling into sleep state when needed (keeping the connection constant).
• Write External Storage: Needed to store all received files, voice clips and conversations.
• Receive Boot Complete: Used to automatically start Talkdroid when charging the device.
• Record Audio: Needed to use when you want to record the voice.
