TimeComX is a free tool, the interface is quite functional and relatively light. TimeComX helps users to schedule Windows to perform tasks with a lot of defined conditions.

After downloading and installing successfully, you activate the icon with the same name TimeComX on the screen. A window appears asking you to select the language to use, usually English > click Next

At this time, a new window will appear, tick the Don't show this message again > click Close button to enter the main interface.

TimeComX interface is designed with two main feature cards, the Event tab provides many options to perform tasks at the Task tab. At the Event tab, select the method to perform the task in Mode , then set as below:

Simple Counter : After a period of time from the current time, only the bottom set with one unit is allowed. You simply select the unit of calculation in the Unit section, then press and hold the circle button in the image in the Value section to pull up a period of time.

Advanced Counter : After a period of time from the current time, allowing detailed customization to seconds, minutes, hours and days. You enter the parameters in the boxes Seconds (seconds), Minutes (minutes), Hours (hours), Days (days).

Time of day: Perform the task when it comes to this point. With this option, you set the time in the Time section and select the corresponding date in the calendar below.

Usage / Activity : Perform the task if the memory and operational activities exceed the limits specified here), Processes (perform the task when the running application has the status of being stuck after a certain period of time) . Here, the application will self-test and perform tasks with 3 groups of Processes (computer processor), Network (network connection), Keyboard & Mouse (keyboard and mouse). Particularly with the Keyboard & Mouse option, enter in the Period under review time parameters will perform a countdown when the mouse and keyboard are in thought state, after this time the task will be performed.

Processes : Perform the task when the open application is frozen, the option has an effect on all applications you are opening. First, click the arrow button in the Process field to select the application to set up for Windows tasks. Then, select the status for the task that is running (Run) or not running (Not Run) in the Condition section. Finally, enter the countdown time to perform the task in the Period under review box.

After you have completed setting up the task execution conditions, you choose the task to be performed at the Task tab. The tasks that the program provides are quite diverse, including: Lock Computer (computer lock), Shutdown (turn off the computer), Sleep (for the computer in sleep state), Hibernate (put the computer into hibernation state) ), Log Off (bring the computer to the login screen), Turn Off Display (turn off the screen), Run File / Open URL (open a predefined file or website, now click on the icon to select file or enter the web address directly in the File / URL box).

When you have completed the two steps above, click the button at the bottom of the interface to start the program based on the settings created.

Advanced settings for the program

Set a password to use: To limit the use of this program by unwanted people, you should set a password so that only you can enter and manage it. First, click the Options button in the upper left corner of the main interface> select the card with the icon. Then, click Set in Password > enter password in the Enter password box> click OK to confirm using the password you just entered.

In addition, you can tick Lock next acess to reset the lock status as soon as you exit the Options section . At this point, you need to click on the padlock icon (next to the Options button)> enter the generated password> click OK .

In particular, at the password generation section, you also have the option to lock Task Manager, which is effective when you need to restrict the use of the computer and help your computer to be more secure from haphazard settings. . You can click Enable or Disable after the Acess to taskmanager option to enable or disable accessing Task Manager .

Set alarms: By default, the program has allowed applications to pronounce alarms such as a clock to jump to help users easily recognize the operation of TimeComX. However, if you do not see this feature work then go to card> tick Enable Audio Output > drag the slider below to adjust the volume.

Transparent interface: TimeComX allows you to transparent the interface of the program compared to the screen in 4 levels of 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. To select transparency, right-click on TimeComX's title bar> preference level.

In addition, there is a Stay on Top option that helps TimeComX to always appear on all other applications.
