Usher for Mac

Wouldn't it be great to have a tool for managing videos and movies, along with Apple's iTunes and iPhoto, for managing music and photos? Use Usher, your personal assistant.

Usher is a video and movie assistant because it can manage a lot of things:

• Usher can manage the videos you store on your hard drive, even if you don't want to transfer your videos and movies to Usher's library - you have the choice to allow Usher to transfer everything into the library. its or not, or just help you manage the collection more neatly.

• Usher can find videos stored on iTunes and iPhoto, allowing users to easily manage these collections. You can add details to videos, then use Smart Playlists (as in iTunes) to quickly filter collections with these details.

• Usher also has the ability to search and download videos on YouTube and Vimeo1. Downloading your favorite videos is now as simple as performing a search (or entering a URL) and letting Usher do the rest. In addition, Usher can automatically convert these downloaded videos to iPhone, iPod, and Apple TV formats, and copy them to iTunes.

This new version has:

• Usher movie processor will no longer be stopped when the Info window is displayed.

• Users with serial numbers (instead of the license file) will not have problems regarding the license upgrade.

• Downloading videos from YouTube with ads now works as expected.
