Similar to Snapchat or Telegram, Viber Wink allows sending photo and video messages to Viber users for a limited period of time previously installed.After the recipient has viewed it and the time is up, the message will cancel itself. The trend of sending self-destructing messages is currently very hot on the mobile market. In this view, there are moments in life that should be shared only once and forgotten. That is why Viber Wink for iOS launched in parallel with the new Viber update, allowing users to share close moments in life and in a certain period of time.

Viber Wink is a multimedia messaging service that couldn't be simpler. At the first launch, Viber Wink will ask you to access the iPhone camera, microphone and Camera Roll device to use the service. The main interface of Viber Wink for iOS allows you to take photos with the front or rear camera, turn on or turn off the flash to support shooting in the dark (or use the automatic flash setting). Press the shutter button to take a new photo. Video recording feature is the same.

You can add photo captions when you press the T icon at the bottom of the screen, select the amount of time the photo or video is displayed on the recipient device by pressing the timer icon in the upper right corner of the screen. There will be time options such as 1 second, 3 seconds, 7 seconds, 10 seconds or no time limit. Once done, click Send to send the message via Viber.

In case of sending Wink self-destruct message to a contact who has not upgraded to the latest Viber 5.7, users will be asked to send the upgrade link or save a temporary message to Camera Roll. After the recipient sees the message, the message will disappear.

Open the chat window with any contact, press the "+" button below the chat and select the Send a Wink option .
