Volume Concierge

Volume Concierge 1.0.1 automatically adjusts the volume on the computer at certain times so that you do not startle people when it suddenly sounds too loud in the middle of the night.

Volume Concierge allows you to schedule the system to automatically increase or decrease the volume at certain times of the day. The program supports you to schedule at different time intervals on the same day or on multiple days. You can then edit or inactivate any timer item.

In the Volume Concierge interface, click Add New Volume Rule in the left corner to add a new timer item.

At first use, a Free Activation dialog box will appear asking you to declare email to register for use. Enter your email in the box and click Free Activation .

You can then schedule times to increase or decrease the volume. Click the clock icon to select a specific time of the day to adjust the system volume. Then, you click the drop-down arrow at Every Day and select the periodic mode, including: Every Day (increase or decrease the volume at the scheduled time every day), Every Work Days (increase or decrease the volume only on those business days, excluding Saturday and Sunday, Weekends (only increase or decrease the volume on Saturdays and Sundays). Finally, you adjust the system volume level at these times by dragging the slider to show the level% to the right.

You can add more timer items by clicking Add New Volume Rule and configuring the same as above. If you want to pause a timer item (the volume will not change at this time), click the ON icon next to the item to turn it yellow. When you need to reactivate this item, click on the yellow icon so that it turns blue again.

The disadvantage of Volume Concierge is that it does not allow you to set a timer on any day but only one of the three modes is Every Day, Work Days or Weekends . In addition, you can not schedule at specific times where the number of minutes is not a multiple of 15.
