How to synchronize music files, photos, videos and podcasts:

Step 1 : First, users need to connect Windows Phone device to Mac via a USB cable. After identifying the device, a Windows Phone for Mac window will appear on the Mac screen.

Step 2 : In the left column of the main screen, click on the content you want to sync ( Music, Photos & Videos, Movies & TV Shows or Podcasts ). Next , Windows Phone for Mac will return results corresponding to the selected content, users can tick the content you want to sync.

Note:

If users want to sync the whole video in the photo synchronization option, select the Include videos option.

Step 3 : Mark the files you want to sync and click the Sync button.

Attention:

• The program does not support synchronizing protected files (with DRM marks) in the iTunes library.
• To manually add a file from your Mac to your mobile device, drag and drop it from the Finder into the phone icon in the Sidebar (the left column of the screen).
• If Windows Phone for Mac does not recognize the device, users can disconnect by unplugging the cable and plugging it in again. In case the program has not yet received the device, you can try turning off the power, restarting the phone.

How to add ringtones to your phone:

Windows Phone for Mac has the ability to detect files that can be used as mobile ringtones.

Step 1 : Connect your Windows Phone to Mac, a Windows Phone for Mac window will automatically appear on the screen.

Step 1 : Connect Windows Phone to Mac. A Windows Phone for Mac window will automatically appear on the screen.

Step 2 : In the Sidebar in the main window of the application, click the Browse Device button, then select the file you want to copy. You can press the Command key to select multiple files.

Step 3 : Do one of the following:

• Click Import Selected Items to copy the selected files to the corresponding library on Mac.
• Drag and drop files to the Mac screen or a certain folder on the Mac.

How to sync your phone with multiple Macs:

Users can sync their Windows Phone devices with multiple computers at the same time.

Step 1 : Use the sync USB cable with the phone to connect that Windows Phone device to the second Mac.

Step 2 : Click the Enable Sync button and follow the program's instructions to sync media files.
